HomeAware Smoke & Carbon Monoxide (CO) Transmitter
The sensor in the HomeAware Smoke & Carbon Monoxide (CO) Transmitter listens for the sound or pattern of your smoke (T3) or carbon monoxide (T4) alarms. Place the Smoke & Carbon Monoxide (CO) Transmitter sensor, with the battery back-up installed and power-cord connected, in an area where the sensor can clearly register the alarm, but will not be triggered often by ambient sounds.
When either a sound within the dB range or a T3/T4 pattern is recognized, the red LED light on the front of the device will start to flash, and the system will be triggered.
If a T3 pattern is registered the system will display the notification: SMOKE If a T4 pattern is registered the system will display the notification: CO If a sound, but no pattern, is registered the system will display the notification: ALERT
